I'm back to Sydney. It feels good to have a room again, with a desk to sit at and a bed that is perfectly horizontal.Everyone else in the house has moved out meanwhile, and two new guys moved in, except for Peggy and Lochy who are still here, and Michael next door of course.

hi martin, warst du schon in den snowy mountains, in thredbo, dort befindet sich der höchste berg des australischen Festlandes. (2228m mount kosciuszko) ich war zwar im januar dort, aber die fahrt dorthin war großartig und der ort + berg sind auch sehenswert. wir haben direkt am fuße des berges im alpine hotel übernachtet, war außerhalb der saison deshalb recht preiswert (glaube 120 A§ für zimmer mit 3 personen inkl frühstück).

Ich bin nur so am Rande der Snowy Mountains durchgefahren und hab wegen stroemendem Regen damals nicht viel gesehen. Aber danke fuer den Tipp, vielleicht ergibt sich ja noch mal die Chance fuer mich; ich werd's im Hinterkopf behalten.
