- Martin Maurer
- Born 1973 in Augsburg, Germany. Studied Computer Science at the Augsburg University of Applied Sciences and at UMKC in Kansas City, Missouri. Spent one year on a scholarship in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Worked as a software engineer and consultant in Germany from 1998 to 2008, then spent a year travelling Australia and six months working in the IT industry in Sydney. Back in Germany since August 2010 as a freelancer. Travelled Iceland in July 2011, following the tracks of his ancestor Konrad Maurer (1858).
